Study design overview. The diagram shows the flow of the patients after enrollment and randomization in the active group or the placebo group. Subjects in the active group will receive a sugar-free rusk-like biscuit powder(s) containing the target food(s) (hen’s egg, cow’s milk, peanuts, and/or hazelnuts) against which they are sensitized with unknown clinical relevance while subjects in the placebo group will receive a sugar-free rusk-like biscuit powder(s) without any of these allergens. After 3 to 6 months of intervention, all subjects will undergo an oral food challenge against the target food(s)
