En bloc endoscopic mucosal resection

Previously attempted resection

Endoscopic appearance of invasive malignancy (non-lifting Kato D, Kudo V pit pattern)

Histologically confirmed malignancy

Presence or suspicion of inflammatory bowel disease

Macroscopic incomplete resection

Located at the ileo-cecal valve or the appendiceal orifice

Contra-indication for surveillance colonoscopy

American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) grades IV or V

Pregnancy
