Patients will be informed about the study before receiving epidural analgesia and randomized to one of two treatment arms if emergent fetal extraction is required. The anesthesiologist administering the epidural conversion will be considered “Investigator A,” and the quality of surgical anesthesia will be evaluated by a second anesthesiologist (“Investigator B”). The patient’s written consent will be obtained in the recovery room after the procedure
