Inclusion criteria

 1. Over 50 years of age

 2. Had rotator cuff repair surgery

 3. Discharged home after surgery

Exclusion criteria

 1. Previous history of shoulder surgery on the affected shoulder

 2. Severe neurological deficit or infection in the affected shoulder

 3. Severe comorbidities (e.g., uncontrolled diabetes mellitus or rheumatoid arthritis) that will inhibit rehabilitation

 4. Cannot participate in the rehabilitation program
