From: Caudal epidural steroid injections versus selective nerve root blocks for single-level lumbar spinal stenosis: a study protocol for a randomized controlled trial

Cured: neither CESI nor SNRB cured LSS

Marked effect: NRS score < 2 points or ODI score < 50%

Effective: NRS score 2–4 points or ODI score 50–70%

Relapse: NRS score > 4 points or ODI score > 70% or the use of analgesics of the patient’s own choice
