Grade 1Increase of < 4 stools per day from baseline; mild increase in ostomy output compared to baseline

Grade 3Increase of ≥ 7 stools per day from baseline; hospitalization indicated; severe increase in ostomy output compared to baseline; limited self-care in ADL
Grade 4Life-threatening consequences; urgent intervention indicated
