Inclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria

Age ≥ 18 years

Age < 18 years

BMI ≥ 30 kg/m2

Refusal to consent

Undergoing a laparoscopic procedure for weight reduction

Any contraindication to HFNO2

Informed consent obtained

Chest circumference too large for EIT belt

 

Severe chronic lung disease

 

Preoperative hypoxia SpO2 < 92%
