Schematic diagram showing the trial timeline. Consecutive patients scheduled for lateral lumbar interbody fusion will be recruited for this study. Whole blood will be drawn from each patient to prepare platelet-rich plasma. In an intervertebral cage, one space will be filled with a bone graft impregnated with platelet-rich plasma, and the other will be filled with a bone graft without PRP
