- Patient group: female and male patients with a diagnosis of typical or atypical AN (according to DSM-5) aged 12 to 19 years - HC group: adolescents aged 12 to 19 years with no current psychiatric disorder and no history of eating disorder | - Antibiotic use 6 weeks before inclusion - Diseases with an impact on the gastrointestinal tract (e.g. diabetes or inflammatory bowel disease) - Psychotic or bipolar disorder - Substance use disorder - Organic brain disease - IQ < 80 - Insufficient knowledge of German language - Pregnancy - For the MRI measurements: none of the standard MRI contraindications met (e.g. metal or electric implants in the body, claustrophobia) |
