Notes: (a) Baseline variables for the mother measure: demographics, physical and mental health, health behaviors, care-seeking, use of social services, socioeconomic status, relationship with father or the child. At baseline, we also collect individual identifiers for mother and baby (e.g., social security number, birthdate). Additionally, we collect baseline information from the nurses including demographics, work history, nurse home visiting practices and workload, referral patterns and perceptions of potential impact on mothers and children.
