Shamiri intervention

Consists of four sessions made up of three modules: growth-mindset (two sessions), gratitude (one session), and virtues (one session).

High school graduates trained as lay-provider (“group leader”). One group leader will be assigned to each group of 10–13 youths.

Study-skills control

Consists of four sessions with content that focus on study skills. Specific modules will include note-taking, effective study strategies, tips for time management, and the study cycle.

Equal dose and duration as Shamiri intervention.
