From: Laser hair depilation for the prevention of disease recurrence in adolescents and young adults with pilonidal disease: study protocol for a randomized controlled trial

Inclusion criteria

 • Age 12–20 years

 • Diagnosis of pilonidal disease

Exclusion criteria

 • History of photosensitivity

 • Actively inflamed pilonidal sinus (these patients will be informed of the trial and invited to contact the study team upon resolution of their inflamed sinus if they are interested in being in the trial at that time)
