The Standard Protocol Items: Recommendations for Interventional Trials (SPIRIT) schedule of enrollment, interventions and assessments. (1) Demographic data will be assessed: age, sex and education; (2) Anthropometric data will be assessed: height, weight and BMI; (3)Potential confounding factors will be assessed: current psychiatric comorbidities, as well as patients’ history of mental disorders (Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia-Present and Lifetime Version adapted for school-aged children, Diagnostic System for Mental Disorders in Childhood and Adolescence), emotional and/or behavioral problems (Child Behavior Checklist/4–18, Youth Self-Report/11–18) and socioeconomic status (modified questionnaire from Trinkl and colleagues [51]); (4) Inflammatory markers will be assessed: tumor necrosis factor-alpha, interleukin-6 and C-reactive protein are assessed
