  2. 1Includes body weight with an empty abdomen, blood pressure, pulse rate, and edema.
  3. 2Number of anti-hypertensive medications and diuretics and the type of PD solution.
  4. 3Complete blood count, electrolyte, serum creatinine, protein, albumin, calcium, phosphorous, and fasting glucose.
  5. 4Total cholesterol, triglyceride, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, hemoglobin A1C, intact parathyroid hormone, N-terminal prohormone of brain natriuretic peptide, and cardiac troponin T.
  6. 5Any new clinical event, including hospitalization and peritonitis, will be recorded during the study period.
